Malgova is a late-season variety from the farms of Salem, Dharmapuri, and Krishnagiri in Tamil Nadu — generous in size, fibre-free in flesh, and naturally sweet with low acidity. Its flavour carries notes of honey and caramel, with a smooth tropical finish.

The skin stays greenish even when fully ripe — do not judge by colour. Press gently near the stem and trust the aroma.
